School daze

09/21/2005, 08:40 AM

So we just realized that K-12 schools must have just started. You must be wondering how we figured this mystery out. Well, today the city buses and bus station were crowded with kids with backpacks. We figure that they get a break during lunch time and that's why there were literally herds of kids. It also dawned on us that they don't have "school buses". The kids have to ride public transportation to get to and from school. I guess i always assumed that they had buses for school kids. But know i know.

As I write this, its 3:56pm and we still haven't had a call yet. PEOPLE!!! You need to cross your fingers and hope with all hope that we get a call soon!!! That is your job until told otherwise.

Mom continues to send out resumes and fill out apps online. Its a never ending process for her. Every time we get online, its straight to the jobsites. OH and whenever we just pass by the internet, she has to check her mail. We also have both of her SIM cards (the cards that tell the phone what number it is) in. So i have her Italian one in my phone and she has her German one in her phone. That way no matter what number an employer calls, they get my mom, since there isn't voice mail here.

That's all i have for now. Here are some more interesting pictures to look at. CiĆ o.
