Its days like today that i miss air conditioning. The evenings and nights are not bad, and we would get an air conditioning unit, but we don't know if we are going to stay in Italy or not, so its not a good idea to buy it yet.
Today we went to our first antique market. Not that impressive. The signs that were talking about it all week said it was a mega antique market. What small town did they come from? It was cool though because I bought some Iraqi bills that have pics of Sadam Hussein. I'm sure they are gonna be worth money in the future. Otherwise, there weren't a lot of actual antique things.
Another first for us: We were waiting at a piazza where the buses stop and take a break, when all of a sudden a shouting match between a bus driver and a local started. It was weird. You didn't know if they were gonna start fist fighting or even what the argument was about. But you can tell one thing, the heat is def. making tempers flair.
Tomorrow we are going back to Rome to go and visit roman cats. Its a volunteer org that helps out with the stray cat population around Rome. Remember, Italy doesn't treat their animals like the united states does. They are just now coming around and treating them like family. We hope to start helping out at places like roman cats.
Well that's is about it for now. Tomorrow we head out early for Rome, so I will hopefully have something more exciting to write about tomorrow. CiĆ o
