Our day started out by us going to Frankfurt to drop off the rental car. Once again, doing things the Ortega way, we got lost, but finally made it, dropping the car off at the Frankfurt train station. From there we went to see about special train tickets to find out that as far as "they know" there aren't any. (further looking on the net found there is....) After being disappointed we decided to try and find the clothing store that my mom wanted to go to so that she could return some of the clothing we bought for some cash, since we are/were very very low on cash. Couldn't find it.....Then i get a call about a job i applied for in a town 15 minutes away. They want me to come in for an interview on Thursday. YEAH! So i told them i would be there. Then we decided to just get a train home and go on the net. We used our last 10€ to get the tickets and hoped on the train. When we get to our station, we find out that its a 30 minute walk back to the hotel, and having to money..... So we ask a bus driver what way we need to walk. He said that we didn't have to walk, we could ride for free. What a great birthday treat for mom.
We get home, eat lunch in the hotel. We have no idea what the menu says so the waiter just brings us a sampler platter, which we just charged to the room being as we had no money, and then went out to go online and do some research regarding jobs and train tickets and such. We found out that FINALLY, our deposit from Italy (for the place we rented) finally got into moms bank account, meaning we have some more cash, not a lot, but enough for now.
Then we decided to go stroll around the town to see what there is. While strolling, i get a call about another job, in the same food court on the army base in Hanau, Germany. WOW! Could it be any better. So now i have 2 job interviews back to back in Hanau on Thursday. Can i say that i feel wanted...lol. So far that's about it, but i will let you know if i get more calls and how the interviews go.
