Well, mom did get a call today but not for the jobs she was looking for. This one was for a part time job that might be temporary at the army base in Heidelberg handing out badges or something. Not what she was looking for. She would take it except that you only get paid once a month and she wouldn't get paid until the end of her first month, and we cant afford to wait that long. Grrr....
She did some emailing however and hopefully we hear something asap.
I emailed the US Postal Service today about still not having received my box 'o' books. Hopefully i hear from them soon. I just want to know where my books are....
Once again, not much doing today, but since i said that i would write more now that i know that people are looking at it, I will. We spent most of the day here on the computers. Mom was looking for jobs the whole time while I played in bingo tournaments on pogo.com.
We had some great homemade cheeseburgers at home and then came back down here to the internet.
I cant believe the amount of time i am spending reading books. I never had this much time before, not that i am complaining, well, i kind of am because i am running out of books. And its not like i have a whole crap load of money to spend of books, that is if they had very many English language books. I would order them online but i have no idea when we are leaving. So i just have to pick thru what small amount of books they have at the local bookstores.
One of the draw backs of not having a washer and dryer means that we have to bring it all down to a self service place. Not that its that bad, we get to play on the net since the internet café is right next to it. But the crappy thing is, we have to have the right amount of change with us at all times. So today, because we didn't have much change and it can cost a lot to do laundry here, we just did a small load of necessary clothing and 3 towels to get us by until tomorrow when there will be more laundry to be done.
We also have to get some shopping done. We have no wet cat food, only tuna, and that will only last us one meal. We also have to get some food since we are always running low.
Well that's about it. I will blog as soon as i find out if mom gets a job call or not. Ciào.
